Rifugio Sapienza Tourist Resort – Etna Sud
The Rifugio Sapienza – Etna Sud tourist resort is located at an altitude of 1,910 meters a.s.l. on the southern slope of Etna, north of Nicolosi. Through the cable cars of Funivia dell’Etna you can reach Montagnola at an altitude of 2500 meters.
From there, with the 4 × 4 of Funivia dell’Etna, it is possible to continue up to an altitude of 3.000 mt, in the area of the former Rifugio “Torre del Filosofo”.
Accompanied by expert guides and according to the ordinances of access to the summit, it is possible to get to the summit craters and visit spectacular places with unique panoramas.
