Piano dei Grilli
The characteristic lava road just outside the town of Bronte, winds through wonderful pahoehoe lava to Casermetta Piano dei Grilli, base camp n.6 of the Etna Park. Impossible not to notice the majesty of Mount Ruvolo and Mount Minardo, two secondary cones that dominate the whole area. The view on the west flank of the volcano offers a unique view.
