Querce di Monte Egitto

In the western sector of the Etna Park, in the Bronte area, there is one of the most precious treasures of the entire Sicilian flora: the centuries-old oaks of Monte Egitto.

Ilice di Carrinu rises among the woods of Milo, on the eastern side of the volcano. A mighty almost millennial holm oak characterized by a magnificent scaffold of long and twisted branches, the second in Italy in size and age.

The Faggio della Rocca is found along the path of the Acqua Rocca degli Zappini, Piano del Vescovo, in the territory of Zafferana Etnea .

Castagno della Nave

In the territory of Mascali, on the border with Sant’Alfio village, there is the millennial Castagno della Nave, called by the farmers “Arrusbighiasonnu”.

Zappinazzu

Zappinazzu is considered to be the longest-lived Zappino pine in the volcano and is located within the majestic Pineta Ragabo forest.
